Every project begins with an inquiry. Once you reach out through our website, our team will review your project details, location, scope, timeline, and design needs to determine whether Rebecca Graham Interiors is the right fit.

If the project aligns with our studio’s services and availability, we will send a detailed questionnaire to better understand your home, goals, priorities, and vision.

Inquiry and Initial Fit

OUR PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH

Questionnaire & Discovery Call

After receiving your completed questionnaire, we will schedule an introductory phone call to discuss your project in more detail. This allows us to learn about your scope, answer initial questions, and determine the best path forward.

Once the project scope has been reviewed and approved, we will provide a contract and retainer based on the level of work required.

Our retainers are applied toward design time. Once the retainer has been used, design time is billed hourly according to the appropriate studio rate.

Our team will communicate clearly about billing, scope, and expectations so clients understand how design time is used throughout the project.

Contract & Retainer

For existing homes, the first meeting typically takes place in the client’s home. For new builds or projects in earlier planning stages, the first meeting may take place in our studio or in collaboration with the architect, builder, or contractor.

This meeting allows us to better understand the physical space, architectural opportunities, lifestyle needs, and overall direction of the project.

Initial in-home consultation

Before selections begin, we work to shape a clear design direction. Clients may be asked to create or share inspiration images so our studio can understand their preferences, priorities, and overall vision.

From there, we refine the direction and begin organizing the ideas into a cohesive plan. This stage is where the overall mood, architectural direction, palette, materials, and design story begin to take shape.

Vision & Concept Development

Once the design vision is established, we begin space planning and design development.

For larger projects, our studio may present multiple space planning options to determine the strongest layout based on lifestyle, function, circulation, scale, and the way the client intends to use the home. This often includes realistic elevation drawings so clients can visualize exactly what their space will look like before work begins.

Selections & Design Development

For new builds and renovations, Rebecca Graham Interiors collaborates closely with architects, builders, contractors, vendors, and skilled trades throughout the project to ensure every decision supports the larger design vision.

From reviewing architectural layouts and electrical plans to refining cabinetry placement, window scale, room function, CAD drawings, elevations, site progress, and vendor coordination, our studio helps guide the many moving pieces with clarity and intention.

Coordination & Project Oversight

Once selections are approved and the project is ready to move forward, our team coordinates procurement, ordering, tracking, installation, and final styling as needed.

Installations may include everything from large-scale rugs, drapery, upholstery, lighting, and furnishings to art, accessories, custom pillows, lampshades, and the smallest finishing details. This final stage is where the home comes together — layered, polished, functional, and ready to be lived in.
